After Reading Chris' letter

Mr. and Mrs. Hood, Kara's family, et al., I just received the email send out by chris, and I felt compelled to write something, even though it isn't a memory per say, I just had to write something, to let you all know that you are in my thoughts this Christmas and New Year's...I have been trying my best to deal with Kara's passing in as positive a way as possible. I started a fund, and am getting sponsors from different companies in hopes of one day, starting a scholarship program at Trinity in her name. As much as I would like to say that it is almost ready, unfortunately it is not even close, it is a work-in-progress...it will get done though eventually. Besides that though, it has been very tough...Hoody's (Kara)unique aspect was that she touched everyone in different, personal ways, that's what makes it so tough. I'm sorry for not giving you a personal story yet, I am working on letting myself open up that way, and talk about it, and breathe, really breathe...I hope you all are well, you have my love, J. George Hume
