Grateful memories...Eternal hope

Kara's earthly life ended 11 years ago this day, and we began a lifetime of mourning, missing, and loving her from afar. As I wipe away tears and read through these memories and messages, I am comforted by the sharing of heartfelt stories about Kara. It makes her feel very close to me, kinda like a hug; and my heartache is made less by the smile on my face. Grieving Kara's death compels me to live fully for her life that was cut short, and to try to follow God\'s desire to forgive; to care for; and to love others unconditionally. I feel that I more fully grasp the meaning of the saying that "I shall pass through this world but once. Any goodness or kindness that I may show to others let me do it now, for I shall not pass this way again.". I am so very grateful for the memories we have of Kara and for the love we share as a FAMily. I look forward to getting a hug from her.
