This January 15th was different for me than the past years. Although it was filled with the usual tears and memories of Kara- I also had a few extra smiles, thanks to your newest nephew, Dane. He reminded me of the fun in the simple things, made me laugh at the little things, and made me appreciate everything a little more. The freshness and excitement he brings to life is something that Kara was great at doing. I hugged Dane a littler closer and a little longer today, knowing that you, Kara, were part of our hug. Thank you, Aunt Kara, for being part of Dane's life and all our lives. I hope we're making you proud. We love you.
