This past week has been hell, leading up to today. I've dreaded what today would be for the past several months. I knew today would be a bad day and thought that I should keep busy. Then I decided that today would be so bad that I should just stay home. But now it's today, and I've been on this website a lot, and I've heard from close friends who knew her, and... I'm filled with peace. If it were up to me, today would never be the anniversary that it is, but I am surprisingly pleased that today has greeted me with friends calling to check in and a supportive family who understands. Today I feel her, and I, too, am smiling!
