I went back to Stella Maris for the first time in over a year today. So much of camp has changed that it is hard to believe. But when I look out at the waterfront it takes my breath away. It is the same shoreline, the same beach, and the same place we shared such great times. Kara's initials are still on the horse block, which is great. More important to me is that I still feel an intense echo of her presence at camp. It is like coming home and hearing Kara laughing in the next room. I pray this connection will always remain true.
