Kara's picture | |
I joke around with my family and friends that I don't really have a permanant home and that I spend most of my time either packing or unpacking my stuff. Between school, my apartment in Burlington, my home in Fairport, and camp I am on the move a lot....and of course moving requires packing. I have my favorite picture of Kara framed, and no matter where I go it is always the last thing I pack and the fist thing I unpack. Every time I look at that picture a different memory of Kara comes to mind...and I love it. There are so many memories that keep me smiling, laughing, and crying all at the same time. I can smile and laugh because of the joy she brought into my life and I am thankful for so many lessons that she taught me. And I cry from the part of me that misses her so much. It is peaceful though to be able to look at that picture, wherever I am and whatever I may be doing, and know that I, that we, have a friend whom we will one day meet again. Thank you for teaching me Kara. Christine | |
