Memories of Kara | |
There are so many different memories I have about Kara. There were so many times that I laughed and shared great moments with her. I am lucky to have had her as one of my best friends at Trinity. She taught me many things about life and one of the most important things was to have fun with your friends & family, and to live life to its fullest. I miss her bombing into the room telling us about a funny encounter she had had that day, I miss her getting lost going to kick boxing class (which was literally down the street), I miss her rallying all of us to do something fun (like having a gathering of friends at the Ivy House), I miss watching the Knicks and Mets games with her, I miss her playing us her one of her favorite songs (Wycliff), and my personal favorite; I miss her showing us her dance moves (Roger Rabbit). Kara could always put a smile on someones face whether or not she was even trying. A friend of mine who lost her father a few years ago shared this quote with me and I thought that it was perfect for how I felt about losing Kara. "When you are lonely and it seems the shadows never end...and when you walk with empty dreams, remember this my friend. Let not your eyes be filled with tears that tell your suffering, but look back over all the years and mark the better things. Be hold the beauties of the past - however small or few, that maybe were not meant to last, but were meant for you. Hold high the courage in your heart and though you see no sign- remember that yor life is part of a supreme design. Remember friend that she is there, wherever you may be, and that with all her loving care she keeps you company..." I miss you Kara, Camilla | |
