 Kara was so proud about living and working in Brooklyn. Her enthusiasm for New York, and Brooklyn in particular was contagious. I remember staying up way too late watching Mets games in the world series because Kara got me all excited about it. (And I don't even like baseball!) Vanessa gave this shirt to Aidan, with Brooklyn's area code proudly displayed on the front. The gift is perfect, because I know Kara would have definitely given Aidan one, and because it makes me smile to see him wearing it. I can almost feel Kara smiling at him too.
